Privacy Policy

Employer Ratings for Job Search (“the extension”) shows public employer ratings next to company names on LinkedIn job pages.

What data is processed

• Company names visible on the LinkedIn page you are viewing are sent to our server to look up their public rating. Nothing else from the page is read or sent: not your profile, messages, contacts, searches or browsing history.
• Installation ID: a random identifier created when you install the extension. It is not linked to your name, email or LinkedIn account and is used only to count your free daily lookups.
• License key (paid plans only): sent with each request so our server can verify your plan.
• IP address: like any web request, our server (hosted on Cloudflare) receives your IP address. It is used only for rate limiting and for counting free daily lookups (to prevent abuse), and is not kept beyond that day's counter.

What is stored

• On your device: ratings already retrieved are cached in the extension's local storage for up to 7 days so they load faster.
• On our server: a cache of company name → public rating, with no information about who requested it, and a daily lookup counter per installation ID and IP address.

Third parties

To retrieve ratings, our server queries a third-party data provider (OpenWeb Ninja) with the company name only. We do not sell or share any user data, and we do not use analytics or tracking.

Payments

Paid plans are sold through Stripe Managed Payments: Link (by Stripe) acts as merchant of record and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.

For paid plans our server stores your license key, its status, the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and the installation IDs of the devices (up to 3) where you activated it. We use this only to grant access and to stop it if a subscription is cancelled or a payment is refunded.
